Introduction
My name is Tamura and I am the representative of Rei Frontier Inc. The infection of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) is currently spreading in Japan, and many people may be feeling uneasy and anxious every day.
Therefore, we have decided to offer the paid functions of our application (SilentLog) for free from April 3, 2020.
What is SilentLog?
Our app (SilentLog) is a lifelog app that allows individuals to record their personal routines. It only keep it in your pocket or bag, and it will automatically record what route you took, where you went, and how much time you spent.
Meaning of Record Your Activities
As stated in the recommendations of the Health and Welfare Ministry’s Expert Meeting on COVID-19 Infectious Diseases published on April 1, 2020, there has been a sharp increase in the past month in the number of situations where a cluster of new coronavirus infections have been reported but the source of the infection is not known.
In fact, I can’t even say that I always remember clearly what I was doing up to two weeks (14 days) before the alleged incubation period for COVID-19. This means that even if I happen to be the source of the infection myself, I don’t necessarily have the ability to give accurate information to a third party.
That’s why we decided to offer this paid function free of charge in order to strongly emphasize the need to “keep a record of your activities” for the time being in order to be prepared for yourself and those around you.
For Our Community
You can also use other companies’ apps to record your personal lifelog and GPS location information in the same way as our app (SilentLog). We are also aware that behavioral and location information is almost synonymous with privacy information.
We hope that our app (SilentLog) can help you to keep a record of your personal activities for the sake of your family, colleagues and our society.
We need to keep an eye on this issue.

3 months.
For those who are already paid members, the validity period will be extended.

How to Reflection
There is no processing required for the user of SilentLog.
Every Monday, we will extend the newly registered account and unreflected account of the previous week.
